Who is “Michael Light”?
Hi, I’m Micha – a hobby photographer and retoucher from Dormagen (between Düsseldorf and Cologne).
For over ten years I’ve been photographing people – not for commercial reasons, but out of passion, the joy of creating, and the opportunity to meet amazing new people again and again.
For me, photography is about more than just “taking pictures.” It’s about making personality and charisma visible, capturing a special atmosphere, and having fun together in a relaxed setting. My style combines the authenticity of portrait photography with the cinematic look of fantasy photography. Along with the creativity and ideas my models bring, this creates the variety that shapes my work.
It doesn’t matter whether someone already has a lot of experience, or is standing in front of the camera for the very first time. Everyone brings something unique – and that’s exactly what makes this hobby so exciting and diverse.
In the end, it’s simple: I take photos because it brings me joy – and hopefully you’ll enjoy it too.
